Joseph’s House [www.josephshouse.org] is marking their 25th anniversary of welcoming and caring for homeless men and women with AIDS and cancer by creating a fully accessible healing garden [garden.josephshouse.org]. Will you join me in helping to create this beautiful new garden?
Joseph’s House is well-known for its excellent care and as a warm and inviting home and community that can heal the spirit. Now, after years of dreaming, they are working to extend that healing spirit into their garden.
The fully-accessible healing garden will be welcoming to those in wheelchairs or using walkers and include spaces for solitude, conversation, and small gatherings and events. Its plants and natural elements will awaken and delight the senses and create an environment for quiet, introspection, and prayer.
Joseph’s House is running an Indiegogo campaign [Igg.me/at/josephshousegarden] from March 16-April 15 to raise money for the garden. Check out the beautiful drawings of the garden to come and the interesting perks they have for campaign contributors. Please join me to #growlove.
